About Us

The Beginning

 

KeyCity  Entertainment was founded by Lowell Bailey. Lowell was interested in  music and DJing from a young age, dreaming of being a radio DJ from when  he was very young. He was lucky enough to get a chance to volunteer for  KGNZ Christian Radio in Abilene and ran with it. Soon he became a  weekend staff member, and from there on he was asked to host the very  first Light Brigade. This program brought a youthful, progressive music  style to evening listeners. Soon he was also hosting Airlines, a Friday  evening program that took listener requests. Lowell was hooked.
 


 

 Lowell  soon started working for KEAN Country Radio on the Sunday afternoon  shift. In the mid-1990s, he moved to East Texas to spin for KVNE in  Tyler, TX. This was another Christian radio station, and Lowell endeared  himself to his listeners with his youth program on Saturday nights.

HERE WE ARE TODAY

 

Lowell loves what he does, so it’s no  sacrifice for him to put all of his effort into KeyCity Entertainment.  This passion shows with every show, karaoke night, and gig we play.

Today the staff has the following DJs: Lowell (DJ Low), Billy the Kid, and DJ Beatz .
